We’ve selected Espai Verd as one of our locations during a Nike shoot in 2023. The whole team was taken away by the urban, brutalist architecture of the building. The Espai Verd (Green Space) was born from a utopia among architects: creating a community in the city by making it live among the trees. Espai Verd is a modular housing complex designed by Antonio Cortés Ferrando. It’s a unique manifest artefact and a strong example of architecture combining brutalism and vegetal environment. Although my task was art direction for the editorial shoot, with great photographer Tofjan, I couldn’t resist to take some monochrome snaps on the side.
